Meet comic book pioneers Lily Renée and Trina Robbins as they discuss and sign an extraordinary new book. Light refreshments will be served.

Lily Renée, Escape Artist is the inspirational story about the remarkable life of Lily Renée Wilheim and her tenacious escape from Nazi occupation to become one of the leading female comic books artists of the post-war era.

The two engaging guests, Lily Renée, a sprightly and fascinating octogenarian, and Trina Robbins, a comic book historian and pioneer in her own right (Wonder Woman writer, 60s underground comix groundbreaker, etc.) provide an insightful and entertaining look at the contribution of women in the comic book industry of the last 70 years–a quintessential American story.
